According to Dr. Holick a sweaty head is a standard symptom of vitamin D deficiency. A sweaty head is common in babies. Excessive sweating in newborn infants can be a result of neuromuscular irritability and can be considered as a common, early symptom of vitamin D deficiency.
10. Bone pain
A deficiency of vitamin D can lead to muscle weakness and bone pain. However, a deficiency of vitamin D does not necessarily have to be a connection with these symptoms. Vitamin D is known as the “sunshine” vitamin, you acquire it when exposed to the sun.
